GRENOBLE AIRPORT INFORMATION
Grenoble Isère International Airport, also known as Grenoble St Geoirs Airport (GNB) is situated 51 kms (about 30 miles) North West of Grenoble. It is very close to the A48 motorway. Originally built in 1967 for the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olypmics, the airport has recently grown significantly, both in size and passenger volume. It is serviced by many Low Cost Airlines such as easyJet, Ryanair, Thomas Cook and Jet 2. Flights arrive from various destinations in the UK, Ireland, Holland and Sweden. It benefits from being quite a small airport as you usually clear customs & baggage reclaim relatively quickly.
