Ben’s Bus operates shared transfers from Grenoble Airport to Val Thorens on Saturdays (and Sundays to Moutiers) during the 2018 / 2019 ski winter season. This is our 13th year running our low cost airport transfers to the French Alps. Our network of routes includes shuttles from Lyon Airport to Val Thorens & Geneva Airport to Val Thorens. We are the cheapest ski transfers on the market and our dedicated staff ensure a reliable, quality and timely service. We usually transport passengers in coaches, which reduces the environmental impact of your journey.

GRENOBLE AIRPORT TO VAL THORENS TRANSFER TIME
The transfer time from Grenoble Airport to Val Thorens is about 3 hours 20 minutes, depending on the date, time of day, the weather and traffic conditions. We allow more time for the journey when we know traffic may be bad. The distance from Grenoble Airport to Val Thorens is 187 km. We have up to 6 buses going back and forth each Saturday and 1 Sunday morning service to and from Moutiers. Visit the section “BUS TIMES” below to find more details on this. The route our vehicles usually take is the A43 (E70) motorway to Albertville, then the N90 national road to Moutiers before climbing the D117 to Val Thorens.
VAL THORENS BUS STOPS
Ben’s Bus reps will greet you at Grenoble Airport. We also have reps in the resort on Saturdays to ensure you find our bus and we’ll try to call you if you are not there on time. Our service stops at the main bus station, the Val Thorens Gare Routiere, as well as the Val Thorens UCPA centre, 5 minutes down the road from the main resort. INFORMATION ABOUT VAL THORENS AND GRENOBLE AIRPORT
SATURDAYS: Every Saturday from the 15th December 2018 to the 13th April 2019.
Please note that our last Saturday bus departs Grenoble Airport at 18:55.
SUNDAYS: We operate a Sunday morning service to Moutiers from the 16th December 2018 until the 7th April 2019. If you are on a flight that does not land in the morning, please follow the advice for Weekdays below.
WEEKDAYS: We do not operate a weekday service for this route. However, there is a shuttle bus from Grenoble Airport to Grenoble city centre. From Grenoble you would need to take a train or bus to Moutiers with SNCF, and then a public bus from Moutiers to Val Thorens with Altibus. Alternatively, you could book a private transfer from Grenoble Airport to Val Thorens with Actibus.

Our bus timetable works around the flight arrivals and departures so you never have to wait long. The easiest way to find the bus time that connects with your flight is to put your details into our Instant Quote form. Please note that our last bus on Saturday evening departs Grenoble Airport at 18:55.
On Sundays, we only operate an morning service to and from Moutiers. At all other times you can buy tickets for the service to Grenoble centre and from there you can take public transport to and from Val Thorens.
The transfer time between Grenoble Airport and Val Thorens is usually between 3 hours 10 minutes & 3 hours 40 minutes. Between Grenoble Airport & Moutiers the transfer takes between 2 hrs & 2 hrs 30 mins. We allow extra time on certain dates & certain times of the day when we know the traffic may be bad.
Please note that on Saturdays, we may ask you to change buses at Moutiers, the village at the bottom of the mountain. Our reps and / or drivers will help you with this.
We have 2 stops in Val Thorens, both of which are detailed below. The majority of our customers will wish to use our Gare Routiere stop. If you are staying at the UCPA, then scroll further down.
Val Thorens Gare Routiere Bus Stop
We pick up and drop off at the main bus station, the 'Gare Routiere', in the centre of Val Thorens. The GPS coordinates are 45°17'51.9"N 6°34'47.9"E and you can see it on google maps here.

Val Thorens UCPA Bus Stop
Walk out of the main entrance of the UCPA and take the track to the left, leading onto the main road. Our bus will stop in the lay-by directly opposite, on the side of the road heading down the mountain. The GPS coordinates are 45°17'58.7"N 6°34'09.3"E and you can see it on google maps here.
We allow a minimum of 45 minutes for customers to clear Passport Control and Baggage Reclaim. At busy times of the day, we allow even more time, but on weekdays, we allow less time.
If you are delayed, we will wait for you but we may not be able to hold our bus for longer than 15 minutes after its scheduled departure time. After that we will do everything we can to get you on our next available transfer service at no extra cost.
Our team at the airport monitor flight arrivals so you don't need to contact us if you are delayed. Our team will be busy juggling buses around to try to accommodate you on another service - or we may be holding the bus back. We have many buses going back and forth each day and our record for getting people to resort is extremely good.

Please note that from time to time, our transfers from Grenoble Airport may require a stop at Moutiers, where you may need to change over to another feeder coach. Our reps and / or drivers will help you with this and we will try and keep this inconvenience to a minimum.
