The transfer time from Geneva Airport to Flaine is about 1 hour 45 minutes on a normal Saturday during the winter ski season. The transfer time depends on the date, time of day, the weather and traffic conditions. We allow more time for the journey when we know the roads will be busy, such as during the European school holidays. The distance is 89 km (55 miles).
Our drivers are local to the area and experienced in driving in snowy conditions. They usually take the most direct route from Geneva to Flaine which is via the A40 motorway, then the D6 before climbing the D106 mountain road to Flaine.
