ABOUT BEN’S BUS
Ben’s Bus is a UK registered company that has been operating in the French Alps since 2006. It was started by Ben Keown, a keen skier and snowboarder who recognised the need for a low cost, high quality, shared ski transfer service for independent holidaymakers. He designed a user friendly website and placed bilingual reps at the airport and in resort to liaise between his customers and the drivers. Ben’s Bus has been working with their valued French coach company partners for many years. We carefully select our transport partners, with passenger safety and customer service a top priority in our decision making process.
Our mission is to be the best value-for-money transfer company in the French Alps. We pride ourselves on being an honest, ethical and affordable enterprise. Our service focuses on offering exceptional and unbeatable value for money, with a great service to match. All our bus services use vehicles which are fully licensed, registered and insured in France. Our drivers are French, local to the area and have years of experience driving in the mountains. Our English speaking reps who greet you at the airport and in the resort, live in the ski resorts, so they know the accommodation and nightlife hotspots better than anyone.
Every year Ben’s Bus has expanded its network and every year we take more customers than the previous year. For the 2018 / 2019 ski season, we are happy to announce that we will continue to operate all our existing services out of Lyon Airport, Grenoble Airport & Geneva Airports with some additional services as we continue to grow. Our network covers most of the ski resorts in France. If your ski resort is not listed on our ski transfers page, try the Natives website for a list of other transfer companies.
We send e-Tickets out to the Lead Passenger as soon as you have booked. These e-Tickets will have information about your ski transfer, including the times of our buses, how to find us, maps showing where our stops are and emergency contact numbers. We always try and call our customers when they are not at the right place at the right time.
CHARITIES, THE ENVIRONMENT AND COMMUNITIES
Ben’s Bus genuinely cares for the environment. It was one of the reasons Ben started the company in the first place. Why have 20 cars on the roads when you could have 1 bus? We have in-house policies to keep the use of printing paper to a minimum. Our eTickets are mobile and tablet friendly so there is no need to print them. We also give to national and international charities, concerned with the local and skiing community, environment, homelessness and poverty related charities. If you need to get in touch, please visit our Contact Us page. On this page you can also re-send your eTicket to yourself as well as change your booking. To keep our costs to a minimum and to allow us to offer you rock bottom prices, we can only be contacted by email. Once you have booked with us, our eTicket will contain emergency telephone numbers which connect directly to the member of our team managing your bus. We genuinely welcome feedback about our service, good or bad. It’s the only way we can continuously improve our service. Ben, the Director and Founder of the company, sees all complaints and deals with a lot of them personally.
