Geneva Airport is one of the most popular airports for travelling to Courchevel. It has a wide choice of flights and regular transfers to the resort. Although Chambery is geographically closer, it has a much smaller range of flights and can be prone to delays. Lyon and Grenoble are also good options, depending on your flight and transfer requirements.
Chambéry Airport (CMF) is the closest airport to Courchevel, with a typical transfer time of around 2 hours. Geneva Airport (GVA) is the next closest major airport, at around 2.5 hours, followed by Grenoble (GNB) and Lyon (LYS). Journey times can vary depending on traffic, weather and road conditions.
Although Chambéry is closest geographically, Geneva Airport is often a more convenient choice for travelling to Courchevel because it has a much wider choice of flights and regular transfer options. Chambéry has a more limited flight schedule, while Grenoble and Lyon are also good alternatives for reaching Courchevel.
