We allow more time for the journey when we know travel conditions may be bad. The distance from Geneva Airport to La Plagne 1800 is 148km (92 miles). We have up to 5 well timed buses every Saturday. Our vehicles usually take the most direct route via the A41 motorway and the N90 national road through Annecy and Ugine before climbing the D221 mountain road to the La Plagne resorts.

DATES
Our dates of operation for our Geneva Airport to La Plagne route are:
SATURDAYS: From the 9th January until the 17th April 2021 .
SUNDAYS: Please use the booking form on our home page to see if we have a bus on your dates.
WEEKDAYS: We don’t run weekday buses but our private taxis page has information on alternative transport options.
We also have services to Aime which run later in the season. Aime is the village at the bottom of the mountain.
Please Note The Following Exceptions:
– On the 9th January we only have buses from Geneva Airport
– On the 11th & 17th April 2021 we only have buses to Geneva Airport.
TIMETABLE
Our bus times work around the flight arrivals and departures so you never have to wait long. The easiest way to see the times of our shared ski transfers is to enter your details into our Instant Quote box and continue through the booking process. The next page will show you a price breakdown, including any discounts. Once you enter your flight details, the nearest bus times will be displayed.
THE JOURNEY
The journey between Geneva Airport and Plagne 1800 on our buses usually takes between 2 hours 45 minutes and 3 hours 15 mins. For Plagne Soleil the journey takes another 5 mins, for Plagne Centre another 10 minutes and for Belle Plagne another 25 minutes. These times are approximations and are dependent on the weather and traffic conditions. We have years of experience operating this route, so we know when to allow more time for the journey.
The journey can be quite long, especially between 8am – 2pm and during school holidays, so bring something to read or watch or a game to play and something to keep the kids entertained. We may ask you to change buses during the journey, usually at a place where you can use the toilet facilities. Once you put your details into our online booking system, we will show you a list of the available bus times.
BUS STOPS
From Geneva Airport, we pick up & drop off at the points marked on the maps below. The appropriate map below will be shown on your e-Ticket along with the pick up time. Our vehicles will usually have a sign in the window but please look out for all vehicles and ask the driver if you are unsure. Belle Plagne

Plagne Centre

Plagne Soleil
At bus stop on the main road at the start of Plagne Soleil. If you stand on the road facing the Odalys Le Cervin residence and look to the left you will see a flight of stairs. The stop is located at the bottom of these stairs. View our Plagne Soleil Bus Stop in googlemaps
Plagne 1800
from the bus stop on the main mountain road, just round the corner from the residence Maeva Lauzes. On the corner of the road is an automatic cash machine with a sign “Banque Laydernier” above it. See our Plagne 1800 Bus Stop in googlemaps.
CHILDREN
If you plan on travelling with children on our services between Geneva Airport and La Plagne, it is important that you visit our Childrens Page and read the section GENEVA AIRPORT. Our vehicles must comply with both French and Swiss road travel regulations.

Please note that from time to time, our transfers from Geneva Airport may require a stop at Moutiers or Aime, where you may need to change over to another feeder coach. We will never ask you to change vehicles more than once. Our reps and / or drivers will help you with this changeover and we will try to keep this inconvenience to a minimum.
