Ben’s Bus operates a Lyon Airport to Moutiers ski transfer service on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays during the 2017 / 2018 ski season. Moutiers is a village at the bottom of the mountain and the transport hub for the ski resorts of Les 3 Vallees. If you need to get from Lyon Airport to Meribel, Mottaret, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Les Allues or St Martin de Belleville, we probably have a bus that will take you all the way there, so there is no need to get off at Moutiers. Other Days of The Week: We do not operate this service on other weekdays. We would recommend taking the shuttle bus service from Lyon Airport to Grenoble city centre. Our bus timetable works around the flight arrivals and departures so you never have to wait long. The 162 kilometres journey between Lyon Airport and Moutiers usually takes between 2 hours & 2 hours 30 minutes, depending on weather and traffic. We allow extra time on certain dates and certain times of the day when we know traffic may be bad. Our years of experience has enabled us to time our buses to get you to the airport in good time for your flight.
Our coaches depart from the bus bays, the “Gare Routiere” on the Ground Floor of Terminal 1 Hall A. There is a Transport Desk and, on Saturdays, a dedicated Ben’s Bus desk just inside the main doors. Our reps will be wearing blue Bens Bus uniforms. The quickest way from Hall B to Hall A is to walk outside, turn right and walk around the building, always keeping the airport on your right. We will drop you off at and pick you up from Bay Number 4 of the main bus station in Moutiers, the “Gare Routiere”. This is the bus and train station, which can be located in the centre of town. From here, you can get onward transport with the local bus network, Altibus. We do ask our customers to keep an eye out for our vehicles as the bus station can get very busy and it is not always possible to park at Bay Number 4. Our services may not be listed on the TV screens, so look out for a bus with “Ben’s Bus – Lyon Airport” in the window or ask a driver for help.

Ben’s Bus will drop you at the main bus station in Moutiers. From here there is a very good network of public buses to the surrounding ski resorts. The Altibus website has information about local buses.

The train station, located right next to the bus station, has high speed trains (TGV) and regional trains passing through. From here you can make connections to get to many national and international cities and towns. Check out the SNCF website for more train information.
Unfortunately, unlike our other routes, we cannot hold our transfers back to wait for people who might be delayed. This is because the driver hours are strictly controlled by the EU and they need to get back to their depot before their hours run out. Our transfer departure times are also closely monitored by the local authorities to ensure a timely service and penalties are levied for late running services.
If you are running late, you can call our manager at the airport (their number will be on your e-Ticket) and they will do their best to hold the bus back a few minutes. Otherwise, we will get you on our next service at no extra cost, provided there is space. We have many buses going back and forth each day and our staff are trained to do the very best by our customers to ensure your holiday starts off on the right note.

Moutiers bus station is located in the centre of town, on the Avenue de la Gare. It is right next to the train station. Together, they are known as the “Gare Routiere”. Our buses usually arrive and depart from Bay Number 4. Sometimes we may have to use other bays, so please be alert for any vehicle with a Ben’s Bus sign in the windscreen. Please note that our bus information will not appear on the TV screens in the waiting area.
The bus station has a sheltered waiting area where you can buy drinks and snacks. During the winter it is open from 6am – 9pm on Saturdays and from 7.15am – 8.30 on Sundays & weekdays. You can call them on +33(0)4 79 242 446.
Moutiers is the transport hub for the region and has excellent transport links. The local buses are run mostly by Transavoie.
