Lyon Airport to Oz en Oisans
If you are travelling from Lyon Airport to Oz en Oisans, Ben’s Bus will have a bus service to Bourg d’Oisans on most Saturdays during the 2023 / 24 ski season. Expand the DATES section below to see when we operate. Bourg d’Oisans is the town at the bottom of the mountain, close to where the road splits for Alpe d’Huez and Oz. TRANSFERS FROM LYON AIRPORT TO OZ EN OISANS
Ben’s Bus prices are the cheapest on the market for this journey. A Return ski transfer from Lyon St Exupery Airport to Bourg d’Oisans costs only £69pp Return. If you are travelling in a group of 8 or more, you could pay just over £60pp Return. Children under 12 receive a 10% discount. Visit our Prices page for a full list of our charges.

Our Lyon Airport to Bourg d’Oisans transfers only operate on SATURDAYS from the 16th December 2023 – 30th March 2024. We only have a service from Lyon Airport on 16th December and we only have a service to Lyon Airport on the 30th March. If you are flying in on a FRIDAY EVENING, you could stay overnight at a hotel and take our Saturday morning service. Just select Hotel for the Airline and Airport when you book and then select the first flight arrival time.
If you’re flying on any other WEEKDAY, then we’re sorry but we can’t help you. We do have some weekday services between Grenoble Airport and Bourg d’Oisans (and Rochetaillee). You could use our Booking Form to see if we have a bus on your dates. If the timings work for you, you could take a taxi between Lyon and Grenoble Airport.

We only have 1 late-morning bus from Lyon Airport to Bourg d’Oisans (and a mid-afternoon bus on some dates in January and March).
From Bourg d’Oisans, we only have 1 bus leaving early in the morning (and a later morning bus on some dates in January and March). If your flight is later in the day and so our bus is not suitable for you, you may wish to consider our advice below.

A taxi between Lyon and Grenoble Airport takes around 45 minutes and costs about €110. You could book our bus to / from Grenoble airport and take a taxi between the 2 airports.

What if my flight is delayed?
We understand that flights can be delayed and we try to be as flexible as we can be with this. Our bus will wait for you if it can. However, we do have other customers who might have already been waiting a while so we have to consider them as well. We also need to adhere to EU regulations concerning driver hours, so our bus may have to depart on time.
If you do miss your transfer with us, if we have a later service and there is space on it, you can travel on that for free. If not, you could either take public transport or ask our team if you could get a taxi to Grenoble Airport and use one of our frequent services from there. A taxi to Grenoble Airport costs around €110.
Please note that we are only a bus company and we can’t be held liable if you miss your bus and we can’t find a solution for you. You would need to arrange your own transport at your own cost.
Onward transport from Bourg d'Oisans
The journey between Lyon Airport and Bourg d’Oisans usually takes about 1 hour 50 minutes in normal traffic. From Bourg d’Oisans to Vaujany in a taxi takes a further 30 minutes. It is advisable to give your taxi driver your Ben’s Bus departure time from Lyon Airport in advance. They will then suggest how to communicate with you on the day to facilitate a swift changeover.

To ensure you get to the airport in time for your flight home, we allow more time when we know the travelling conditions may be bad, such as during the school holidays. Our buses need to pass along the Grenoble ring road which can become very congested, so we allow more time when we think it is necessary.
