Moutiers is the village on the valley floor and the transport hub for the Meribel valley. Transfers to Meribel run throughout the 2026 / 27 winter ski season. Ben’s Bus offers the best value and most frequent and regular shared transfers to Meribel. This bus route also services the other Meribel valley resorts of Brides Les Bains, Les Allues and Mottaret. These resorts are on the same mountain road as Meribel.

Our Meribel transfers operate from 12th December 2026 – 3rd April 2027, depending on which airport you use.
Meribel shuttles are available every Saturday and Sunday from Geneva Airport. From Grenoble, they run to Moutiers on all Saturdays and some Sundays and from Lyon, they only run on Saturdays.

MERIBEL TRANSFER TIMES & DISTANCES
The closest airport to Meribel is Chambery Airport, and so it has the shortest transfer time. However, your choice of airlines and flights is very limited. For a greater choice, consider Geneva Airport (GVA), Lyon Airport (LYS) or Grenoble Airport (GNB). Ben’s Bus offers transfers from these 3 airports.
The transfer time to Meribel depends on the traffic and weather. With our years of experience, we know when the travelling conditions may be difficult and so when to allow extra time for the journey. During the French school holidays, the traffic is extremely heavy. Meribel is towards the end of the D90 mountain road.

Meribel Bus Stop
Our Geneva Service uses the ‘Les Ravines’ bus stop which is on the Route Albert Gacon (D90) a little after the Ice Rink complex if you are coming down from Mottaret. You should see a roundabout near to the bus stop. See our Meribel stop in Google Maps
Meribel is the largest and best known of all the resorts in the valley. Its little sister, Meribel Village is located a little further down the road. Our service from Geneva Airport can stop at both of these resorts.
Meribel has an all round appeal due to its authentic mountain architecture, good stock of bars and restaurants and great facilities and amazing skiing.
As part of the enormous 3 Valleys ski area, which offers over 600km of marked runs and is serviced by 200 ski lifts, the choice of pistes is unrivalled. There are 49 black runs, 175 reds, 207 blues and 66 greens. As a result the area is suitable for all types of skiers.
If you buy a 3 valley ski pass, you can also access the slopes in the Val Thorens and Courchevel valleys and 2 glaciers, which means your ski holiday is snow-sure.

Cheapest Ski Transfers

Geneva Airport is one of the most popular airports for travelling to Meribel. It has a wide choice of flights and regular transfers to the resort. Although Chambery is geographically closer, it has a much smaller range of flights and can suffer from delays. Lyon and Grenoble are also good options, depending on your flight and transfer requirements.
Chambéry Airport (CMF) is the closest airport to Méribel, with a typical transfer time of around 2 hours. Geneva Airport (GVA) is the next closest major airport, at around 2.5 hours, followed by Grenoble (GNB) and Lyon (LYS). Journey times can vary depending on traffic, weather and road conditions.
Although Chambéry is closest geographically, Geneva Airport is often a more convenient choice for travelling to Méribel because it has a much wider choice of flights and regular transfer options. Chambéry has a more limited flight schedule, while Grenoble and Lyon are also good alternatives for reaching Meribel.
Ben's Bus has 1 bus stop in Meribel and 1 bus stop in the smaller Meribel Village. They are both conveniently positioned so you can take the free shuttle bus onto your accommodation. These 'navettes' as the French call them, frequently circulate the resort.
How Long Does It Take To Get From Geneva Airport To Meribel?
The transfer from Geneva Airport to Meribel usually takes about 2 hours 20 minutes, depending on the traffic and weather. The journey can take longer during busy periods, particularly at Christmas, New Year and during French February school holidays. Between around 9am - 2pm the roads can get congested in the Moutiers area, where the roads bottleneck.
What Dates Do You Run Your Geneva Airport Transfers?
Our Geneva Airport transfers run on Saturdays and Sundays during the winter ski season. For Les Arcs and La Plagne on Sundays, we can only take you as far as the town on the valley floor.
Once you complete our booking form with your origin point and destination, our available dates will appear in a drop-down. Saturdays are listed first and then Sundays are listed at the bottom.
