Lyon Airport to Bourg d’Oisans
Bourg d’Oisans transfers from Lyon St-Exupery Airport are available on most Saturdays during the 2023 / 2024 ski season. Bourg d’Oisans is the town on the valley floor that you pass through on the way to Alpe d’Huez and Les Deux Alpes. It is the transport hub for all the surrounding resorts. From here you can catch buses and taxis to Villard Reculas, Auris en Oisans and La Grave. All Ben’s Bus services from Grenoble Airport and Lyon Airport to Alpe d’Huez and Les Deux Alpes can stop at Bourg d’Oisans. You can also use this stop if you are heading to Vaujany or Oz en Oisans. Bourg is the last decent-sized town on the way to Serre Chevalier, before you hit the “Col du Lauteret”.

Our Lyon Airport to Bourg d’Oisans transfers only run on SATURDAYS, from the 16th December 2023 – 30th March 2024. On Saturday 16th December we only have a service from Lyon Airport and on the 30th March we only have a service to Lyon Airport. If you are flying in on a FRIDAY EVENING, you could stay overnight at a hotel and take our Saturday morning service. Just select Hotel for the Airline and Airport when you book and then select the first flight arrival time.
If you’re flying on any other WEEKDAY, then we’re sorry but we can’t help you. We do have some weekday services between Grenoble Airport and Bourg d’Oisans. You could use our Booking Form to see if we have a bus on your dates. If the timings work for you, you could take a taxi between Lyon and Grenoble Airport.
We also do not have any services on SUNDAYS. However, we do have Sunday services between Grenoble Airport and Bourg d’Oisans. Use our Booking Form to find our bus times. If they work for you, you could take a taxi between Lyon and Grenoble Airport.

We only have 1 late-morning bus (and a mid-afternoon bus on some dates in January and March) from Lyon Airport to Bourg d’Oisans.
From Bourg d’Oisans, we only have one bus leaving early in the morning (and a later morning service on some dates in January and March).

A taxi between Lyon and Grenoble Airport takes around 45 minutes and costs about €110. You could book our bus to / from Grenoble airport and take a taxi between the 2 airports.

Remember, you could book a Single with us for one leg of your journey and travel the other way with another company.
BUS STOPS
Our bus stop is at the only bus station in Bourg d’Oisans, the VFD Gare Routiere. It is very close to the town centre and there is shelter at the bus station.
WHAT IF MY FLIGHT IS DELAYED?
We understand that flights can be delayed and we try to be as flexible as we can be with this. Our bus will wait for you if it can. However, we do have other customers who might have already been waiting a while so we have to consider them as well. We also need to adhere to EU regulations concerning driver hours, so our bus may have to depart on time.
If you do miss your transfer with us, if we have a later service and there is space on it, you can travel on that for free. If not, you could either take public transport or ask our team if you could get a taxi to Grenoble Airport and use one of our frequent services from there. A taxi to Grenoble Airport costs around €110.
Please note that we are only a bus company and we can’t be held liable if you miss your bus and we can’t find a solution for you. You would need to arrange your own transport at your own cost.
ONWARD TRANSPORT FROM BOURG D'OISANS
The journey between Lyon Airport and Bourg d’Oisans takes about 1 hour 40 minutes in normal traffic. If you are going to arrange onward transport to your final destination, just give the taxi company your Ben’s Bus departure time from Lyon Airport. They will then suggest how to co-ordinate the changeover with you on the day.

For your journey back to the airport, we allow more time when we know the travelling conditions may be bad, such as during the school holidays or at certain times of the day. Our buses need to pass along the Grenoble ring road which can become very congested.
