TRANSFER TIME FROM GENEVA AIRPORT TO VAL D’ISERE
The transfer time from Geneva Airport to Val d’Isere is about 3 hours 35 minutes. The distance from Geneva Airport to Val d’Isere is 180km (112 miles), making it one of the most accessible airports. The transfer time depends on the date, time of day, weather and traffic, but we allow more time for the journey when we know travelling conditions may be bad, such as during the French February school holidays. VAL D’ISERE BUS STOPS
All our buses can stop at the main bus station in Val d’Isere, the ‘Gare Routiere’ and La Daille. La Daille is the purpose built part of Val d’Isere, about 5 minutes from the main resort. DATES
Shared ski transfers between Geneva Airport (GVA) and Val d’Isere are available on the following dates:
SATURDAYS: From the 4th December 2021 until the 23rd April 2022
SUNDAYS: From the 12th December 2021 until the 10th April 2022
WEEKDAYS: We will run some weekday buses over the festive period. To see what dates are available, enter your route into our booking form and then check the calendar. If your dates are not available to select, and there are more than 5 people in your group, get in touch with us as we may be able to lay something on for you. Please Note The Following Exceptions:
– We have no services on Saturday 25th December (Christmas Day)
– On the 4th, 12th, 27th & 28th December we only have buses from Geneva Airport
– On the 3rd January and 10th & 23rd April 2022 we only have buses to Geneva Airport
TIMETABLE
We have built our bus timetable around flight times, so you never have to wait long. To find the times of our shared ski transfers, put your dates into our Booking Engine and continue through the booking process. The next page will show you your quote, including any surcharges and discounts. Once you enter your flight details, the nearest bus times will be displayed for you to choose.
THE JOURNEY
The transfer time from Geneva to Val d’Isere is usually between 3 hours 20 minutes and 4 hours, covering a distance of 180km. Val d’Isere is at the end of the mountain road so you should prepare yourself for a long transfer. Bring a book or a downloaded video and something to entertain the kids, especially if you are travelling between the hours of 7am – 2pm as the roads can get very congested. We usually take the A41 motorway and then the N90 National road via Annecy and Bourg before climbing the D902 to Val d’Isere.
BUS STOPS
We pick up & drop off at the main bus station, the “Gare Routiere” in Val d’Isere. We also have a stop at La Daille and you can select this stop when you book with us. The map below will be shown on your e-Ticket along with the pick up time.
Click the following link to see the Val d’Isere Tourist Office map of the resort which will help you find your accommodation in Val d’Isere. The free shuttle buses depart from the Ben’s Bus stops and circulate the resort at regular intervals.
Val d’Isere Gare Routiere
This is the main bus station in the centre of town. Most of our passengers alight here. You can see this stop in google maps here.
La Daille Stop
La Daille is a kilometre down the road from Val d’Isere and offers lots of cheaper accommodation options. You can see this stop in google maps here.

Occasionally we may require you to stop at Moutiers, Aime or Bourg St Maurice, where you may need to change over to another vehicle. Our team will assist in this to ensure the disruption is kept to a minimum.
