The transfer time from Geneva Airport to La Plagne is about 2 hours 45 minutes on an average Saturday in winter. The distance is 150 km. The transfer time depends on the date, time of day, weather and traffic and which La Plagne resort you’re going to. We allow more time for the journey when we know the roads will be busy, such as during the French school holidays.

Our drivers are experienced at driving in snowy conditions and know the local roads well. They usually take the fastest route via the A41 motorway, then the N90 national road through Annecy, before climbing the D221 mountain road up to the resorts.

Our service stops at convenient places in Belle Plagne, Plagne Bellecote, Plagne Centre, Plagne Soleil & La Plagne 1800. We can only pick up & drop off at the points marked on the maps below. Visit the Tourist Office and use their handy interactive map. The free in-resort shuttle buses circulate the resorts fairly regularly but may not operate 24 hours a day!

Your e-ticket will display a map and pick up time and our vehicles will have signs in the window. If you’re staying in Plagne 2000 (Aime La Plagne) or Plagne Village, you could book a ticket to Plagne Centre and then take a shuttle bus or taxi to your resort.

We’re sorry but we cannot offer any advice on which stop is best for you. If you’re unsure, compare our Google Map links to the location of your accommodation. If your accommodation is not close to our bus stops, we strongly recommend NOT arriving into the resort too late and NOT departing the resort too early. The free shuttle buses don’t run 24hrs / day! You could also consider booking our bus to Aime, the town on the valley floor, and getting a taxi up the mountain.
