Delayed FlightWHAT IF MY INCOMING FLIGHT IS DELAYED?

We understand delays happen. In the 20 years we’ve been operating, we (hope!) we’ve seen every kind of delay possible, from the standard delayed flight, to pandemics, industrial action, and even volcanic eruptions!

We know you’ve spent a lot of money on your holiday and that you want a stress-free transfer service. This is why, our experienced team, many of whom have been working for us for years, are trained in how to deal with delays. We hope our reputation for getting our customers to resort speaks for itself.

WHAT WE DO TO HELP DELAYED PASSENGERS

01

We may be able to hold our bus for a short while. However, we have other customers to consider and our driver hours are strictly regulated by law.

02

We leave empty seats on all our services to accommodate late-comers. Unlike other companies, we sacrifice our profit to ensure we deliver a first-class service.

03

Anyone arriving late can get on later service for free, availability permitting. Just approach our team as soon as you clear Baggage Reclaim and they will update you.

04

If you arrive early, please approach our team as soon as your group has all their bags and if we have space, you can get on an earlier bus. This will free up even more space on later buses.

05

Our team monitor the arrivals board. When they see a delayed flight, they’ll be busy juggling buses to create space for late-comers. So there is no need to contact us if you are running late.

06

We’ve developed our systems over time to facilitate rapid reactions to flight delays and seamless, swift communications to our customers.

07

We always try to hold our last bus of the day back a little longer, as we understand staying the night at an airport hotel and transferring the next morning is a huge inconvenience.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO MINIMISE YOUR RISK

– Try not to book flights arriving late in the evening, especially if you’re in a group. Later flights are more prone to delays as the knock-on effect of earlier delays builds up.

– If you’re part of a group of 5 or more, we recommend you allow at least 1 hour 20 minutes between your flight landing and our bus departing. It’s harder for us to find spare seats on later buses for large groups.

– If you’re travelling on a non-EU passport, due to the new EES border controls, you should allow more time between your flight landing and our bus departure time, especially at busy times of the day.

– When you book with us you’ll be offered up to 3 bus times. If you’re worried about the time between your flight landing and our bus departing, select a later bus. When you arrive at the airport, approach our team and if there is space on an earlier bus, you can get on that for free.

THE LEGAL BIT!

Despite all of the above and the huge effort our team puts in to ensure you get on a bus, we are only a bus company and we can’t be held liable if we can’t find a solution for you. You should ensure you have adequate travel insurance to cover any unforeseen eventuality.

If you’re on the last bus of the day, we will try to hold that back a little longer. If you’re very delayed and you miss our last bus, then we’re sorry but we will not be able to transport you that evening. You would either need to take a taxi or stay in a hotel at or close to the airport – at your own expense. You could then take our first bus the following morning, if we have one and availability permitting.
