In the event that you place an order through our website you will be required to submit Your Personal Data. We generally ask for the following Personal Data when you place an order through us: names, mobile phone numbers and email addresses. In accordance with applicable legislation concerning Secure Customer Authentication (SCA) of card payments, we also ask for the post code and country for the cardholder. We ask for this data for the purposes of SCA and we store this data for 24 hours. We process Your Personal Data to fulfil our contract with you.

We also collect your Personal Data when you contact us directly by email or phone. For quality control and training purposes, we may monitor or record your communications with us. We collect this information because it is in our legitimate interests to make sure we can properly respond to your query, including to provide technical support. Our website and Tickets may include links to other websites, including advertisers and partners of Ben’s Bus. These companies and websites may have their own privacy policies. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We will use Your Personal Data to (1) enable you to book and pay for our services, (2) arrange for the delivery of our services to you or to a third party, (3) allow you to access your booking via our website, (4) provide you with our services that you or a third party has paid for, including updating you by email or text messages about the service you have booked with us (5) carry out any necessary administrative and accounting purposes and (6) respond to complaints. We do not use Your Personal Data for marketing purposes without your consent. Please see the section below entitled “MARKETING” on how to be contacted by us with news and updates about our services.

We may share Your Personal Data with selected third parties but only for the purposes of providing the service that you have purchased through us. Such third parties may include business partners, suppliers and sub contractors both in the UK, the EU and Switzerland.

We use third-party email marketing and marketing automation platforms to manage our mailing list and send marketing communications. These platforms currently include MailChimp and Twilio SendGrid. The personal data provided for marketing purposes, which may include your name and email address, may be transferred to and processed by these providers on our behalf.

By subscribing to our mailing list, you acknowledge that the information you provide may be transferred to MailChimp and/or Twilio SendGrid in accordance with their respective privacy policies and terms.

RETENTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

We only keep Your Personal Data or Third Party Personal Data for as long as is necessary for the purpose of the provision of the services and to enable us to respond to any queries or complaints that you or a relevant third party may have. We regularly review our information and erase Personal Data when we no longer need it (apart from any Personal Data that we are required to keep for legal reasons). We may continue to hold Your Personal Data if we are required to do so for legal reasons.

PAYMENT AND CREDIT CARD DETAILS

Any payment transactions will be made through our secure third-party payment processor emerchantpay. Ben’s Bus Ltd and its partners and affiliates have no access to your full credit card details.

We take appropriate measures to ensure that Your Personal Data is kept secure, including using SSL certificates for our websites. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
