GRENOBLE AND LYON AIRPORTS TO LES ARCS SKI TRANSFERS
From Grenoble & Lyon Airports we only provide ski transfer shuttles to Bourg St Maurice. Depending on which airport you are flying into, our buses from the airports to Bourg St Maurice start on the 10th December 2016 and our last buses to the airports are on the 16th April 2017. Our prices start at £70p Return. From Bourg St Maurice you will need to make your own travel arrangements to Les Arcs by way of the funicular, public bus or private taxi. We have many buses between both Airports and Bourg St Maurice every weekend so you never have to wait long. LES ARCS SKI RESORT
Les Arcs is a set of purpose built resorts, spread over the villages Les Arcs 2000, 1950, 1800 and 1600. They are connected to the massive paradiski area by way of the impressive Vanoise Express, a spectacular and very fast ride over towards the other side of Paradiski in La Plagne. The Paradiski area offers access to some great ski slopes, covering over 425km of marked runs, served by 141 lifts. This includes access to 2 glaciers, ensuring your ski holiday is snow-sure.
The Les Arcs ski area itself, with its 200km of pistes to choose from, does offer skiing for all tastes and abilities. There are 18 black runs, 33 reds, 56 blues and 1 greens. It is a popular resort with snowboarders.
TRAVEL TIMES BETWEEN THE AIRPORTS AND LES ARCS
The distance from Geneva airport to Arcs 2000 (the furthest most resort) is 165km and the transfer time is between 3 hours 45 minutes & 4 hours 15 minutes, depending on the date, time of day and driving conditions. We allow about 3hrs for the journey from both Grenoble & Lyon Airports to Bourg St Maurice and the distance is 177km. The journey from Bourg St Maurice to Les Arcs takes under 10 minutes on the funicular and about 40 minutes on road, depending on whether you take a public bus or private taxi and what time of day you are travelling. Please allow plenty of time to descend the mountain from your resort to be at Bourg in time for our bus departure.
