HUGE SNOW FALL HEADING TO THE ALPS THIS WEEK-END
Perfectly timed for the 1st November, the lovely weather people are predicting a massive dump over the week-end and into the start of next week. Most resorts are expecting about 50cm of snow between now and Wednesday.
What’s even better is that from Tuesday, the temperatures in resorts will drop to well below-zero. The freezing level is also pretty low at about 1600m. These are the perfect conditions for the all-important base to form. This is probably the only time we’re grateful to the piste bashers for pounding that lovely fresh powder into a rock hard pack!
Check out the snow forecast website to see how much snow is heading to your resort. The J2Ski website is also pretty good. If you haven’t yet decided on which resort to go to, see a list of resorts we cover here.
