Geneva Airport Ski Transfers FAQ’s

 

  • I want to travel with Ben’s Bus but my flight is not listed

We may still be able to accommodate you if your flight is not listed, as long as it arrives / departs close to another flight that is listed and you are flying in or out of Geneva international airport. All you need to do is select the flight that matches your times the closest. After booking please then send an email with your real flight details (incoming and outgoing) to Stu (email address to be found at the bottom of this page). If you are not sure which flight to select, then please e-mail Stu.

 

 

  • Does Ben’s Bus do weekday or Sunday ski transfers?

At the moment Ben’s Bus only runs ski transfers from Geneva Airport on Saturdays. We may expand this service next year but in the meantime, to source an alternative we would recommend using this website: http://www.meribel-unplugged.co.uk/airt.htm  

 

 

  • What dates do you run ski transfers from Geneva Airport?

Ben’s Bus run ski transfers from 12 December 2009 to 10th April 2010 to and from Geneva Airport to Meribel, Val Thorens, Moutiers, Mottaret, Les Menuires, Brides-les-Bains, Les Allues, Saint Jean de Belleville and Saint Martin de Belleville.   • Which ski resorts do you cover from Geneva Airport?

The ski resorts we cover from Geneva Airport are: Meribel, Val Thorens, Moutiers, Mottaret, Les Menuires, Brides-les-Bains, Les Allues, Saint Jean de Belleville and Saint Martin de Belleville 

 

 

  • I want to go to a ski resort near the 3 valleys from Geneva Airport, can you help?

Ben’s Bus can help you get you to:

Courchevel – To get here book a ticket to ‘Moutiers’ from there you can get to Courchevel via public bus or taxi

La Plagne - To get here book a ticket to ‘Moutiers’ from there you can get to La Plagne via public bus or taxi.

La Tania - We can provide you with a transfer to Meribel Village which is about 4km away from La Tania. From there you can get a taxi. Taxi number can be found here: http://www.meribel-unplugged.co.uk/airt.htm

Le Bettaix – To get here please book to ‘Les Menuires’ from there you can book a taxi. Taxi numbers can be found here: http://www.lesmenuires.com/pages_fr/preparez-votre-sejour/transport-taxi.htm

  • How much is a Ben’s Bus ski transfer from Geneva Airport and what is the availability?

To check availability please book using the online system. This will give you the total price for groups, please note there are no hidden charges. 

 

 

  • My payment fails at the visa verification stage, what shall I do?

We are sorry if you have problems with our payment site. This could be for one of the following reasons:

1. There was a temporary problem with the payment site – please try again in a short while.

2. You may be using foreign letters when you put your name / address into the Payment site. Please replace these with latin letters.

3. You have signed up to Verified by VISA or Secure Mastercard or another password driven security system operated by your bank. Sometimes our payment system is not compatible with the bank's system

Please do try again following the above tips and if it still does not work try with another card or from another computer. If you still encounter problems with multiple cards then please contact stu@bensbus.co.uk  providing the type of card you are using, the name of your bank, the name of the card holder, the exact time and date of the failed transaction and if possible a screenshot of the error you receive. 

 

 

  • I have booked with Ben’s Bus but I haven’t received my e-Ticket

If you have booked transfers using the Ben’s Bus website and you have not received an e-Ticket from us then please check your junk mail folder. If you are still missing an e-ticket then please e-mail stu@bensbus.co.uk  

 

 

  • What happens if my flight is delayed?

This is an excerpt from our legally binding “Conditions of Carriage” In the instance of the incoming flight you selected on our website being delayed our service will wait for that flight only if it is delayed by less than thirty (30) minutes. If your incoming flight is delayed by more than thirty (30) minutes then our service will depart without you and we will not be liable for any refund or to arrange or provide alternative transport for you to the resort, or for any costs which you may incur as a result of missing our service. If you miss your service due to a late incoming flight and there is space on the next service, we will allow you to travel on this service, at the discretion of our representative at the airport." 

 

 

  • Where do I meet the rep at the airport?

A Ben’s Bus representative will be at the arrivals area in Geneva airport to greet you. The representative will be available 30 minutes before the coach is due to depart.  

 

 

  • How long does the ski transfer take?

Journey time is approximately 3 to 3.5 hrs. This is dependent on traffic and weather conditions. 

 

 

  • How many stops will there be during my journey?

This depends on how many clients we have booked onto other resorts. Generally the stops do not have a significant impact on the overall journey time.
