All our ski transfer buses are fully licensed, registered and insured vehicles, our drivers are local to the area and have years of experience driving in the mountains and our English speaking reps live in your ski resort, so they know the accommodation and nightlife hotspots better than anyone else. If you need an airport transfer to Alpe d'Huez or Les 2 Alpes, Ben's Bus has ski transfer buses that connect with every single flight coming into and out of Grenoble Airport, every single day of the week, starting Saturday 15th December 2012 and ending Sunday 20th April 2013 (except the 25th December).

On Saturdays you will be greeted by a Ben’s Bus rep who will show you to your coach. They can also answer any questions you may have about the resort and find which stop is closest to your accommodation. From there, it’s a smooth direct run up to the slopes. Transfer times are between 1hr 45 mins and 2hrs 15 mins depending on weather and traffic.

On Sundays and weekdays you will find your Ben's Bus very easily at the bus stop outside the Departures lounge. Please note that to offer these prices, if you travel on a weekday or a Sunday, you will sometimes be asked to change buses onto a feeder bus at Bourg d’Oisans – the village at the bottom of the mountain. Our drivers are trained to call the connecting driver in advance of their arrival at Bourg d’Oisans, so your changeover will be as trouble-free as we can make it.

Drop off/Pick up Points

We know what a pain it is dragging your heavy bags and skis around a ski resort looking for your hotel, which is why our ski transfers have drop off and pick up points strategically placed around the resort, so you'll never have to walk far. Go to Stops in Resorts to see which Ben’s Bus stop is closest to your accommodation.

Baggage Store

Most accommodation in French ski resorts will not let you in to your apartment before 4pm, and will most likely ask you to leave before 10am. This is why we offer all our customers coming in on our morning Saturday morning ski transfers and leaving on our evening ski transfers a free, exclusive to Ben’s Bus customers, baggage storage service in Alpe d'Huez and a discounted one in Les 2 alpes.

In Tignes you can use the very reasonably priced (3€ last time we looked) baggage store provided by the local Tourist Office. Visit www.tignes.net for more information.

In Alpe d'Huez, we will drop you off near Smithy's Tavern. You can leave your bags in a dedicated area - watched over by the bar staff – fill up on some breakfast, before changing into your gear and heading out onto the slopes. This service is only available on Saturdays.

In Les 2 alpes we will drop you off at the Les Deux Alpes Voyages' office, right next to the main ski lifts. You will have the opportunity to use their paid-for service, at a Ben’s Bus discounted rate of €3. Your bags will be locked in a dedicated room, so you can get changed, pop into Smokey Joes for some breakfast and then head up the mountain.

We'll wait for you

If your incoming flight to Grenoble Airport is late, our ski transfers will wait for up to 45 minutes (30 minutes for transfers to Chamrousse) after your flights’ scheduled arrival time. If it's more than 45 minutes late (30 minutes for transfers to Chamrousse) and you miss your Ben's Bus transfer and there is space on the next bus, you can get on that one for free. We will always go out of our way to get you on a bus somehow.

If your incoming flight to Geneva Airport is late, our ski transfers will wait for up to 30 minutes after your flights’ scheduled arrival time. If it's more than 30 minutes late and you miss your Ben's Bus transfer and there is another one later in the day with space on it, you can get on that one for free.

Children

If your child is big enough to sit in a seat themselves whilst safely strapped into a 2 point lap seat belt, then they must purchase a ticket at the full price and travel like any other passenger. If your child is so small that they need a baby seat, then regretfully we are unable to arrange to transport them. This is due to the fact that we often use large coaches which are not suitable for safely securing a baby seat.
