Serre Chevalier
If you are travelling to Serre Chevalier then we can take you as far as Bourg d'Oisans or the Lac du Chambon - from where you need to arrange you own onward transport to Serre Chevalier. We have listed your options below to help you. Please note that to get to Serre Chevalier from either Bourg d'Oisans or the Lac du Chambon, you will need to pass over the 'Col du Lauteret' which gets closed in extreme weather. Ben's Bus is only liable for taking you as far as either Bourg d'Oisans or the Lac du Chambon. From that point onwards, we will not be liable for your transportation.
Option 1. We can take you on the Ben’s Bus ski transfer to the “Lac du Chambon” where you can get the local taxi man, Jean, to pick you up. His prices are very reasonable and you can contact him by email fege@9online.fr or by phone 00 33 (0)6 72 67 69 33 for a quote and to book. You can then book the Ben’s Bus to Les 2 alpes. Please then send us an email grenobleairport@bensbus.co.uk to let us know you will need dropping off at / picking up at the Lac du Chambon so we can make a note of it on our transfer list. For your return to Grenoble Airport, you will need to be at the Lac du Chambon 5 minutes after the departure time from Les 2 alpes - as shown on your Ben’s Bus e-Ticket. The journey time between Grenoble Airport and Lac du Chambon is about 1hr 40 minutes.
Option 2. We can take you on the Ben’s Bus ski transfer to “Bourg d'Oisans” where you can get a local bus which will run all the way to Briancon, stopping at the various Serre Chevalier resorts on the way. If you would like to take the Ben's Bus to Bourg d'Oisans, please book that you are going to Les 2 alpes, and then send us an email grenobleairport@bensbus.co.uk to let us know you will need dropping off at / picking up at Bourg d'Oisans so we can make a note of it on our transfer list. You will need to be at the main Bourg d'Oisans bus station - the 'Gare Routiere' 20 minutes after the departure time from Les 2 alpes as shown on your Ben’s Bus e-Ticket. The journey time between Bourg d'Oisans and Grenoble Airport is about 1hr 30 minutes.
