Airports

We run ski transfers from Grenoble Airport to Rochetaillée, which is the village at the bottom of the mountain where the road splits to go up to Oz en Oisans, Villard Reculas & Vaujany. From Rochataillee you have a few options on your onward transport up to your resort. These are listed below.

If you are travelling to Vaujany, Oz en Oisans or Villard Reculas, you can book a Ben's Bus ski transfer to Alpe d'Huez and we can drop you at the village at the bottom of the mountain - Rochetaillee. From here you have 2 options:

1. Make your own arrangements:If you do this, please ensure that you email grenobleairport@bensbus.co.uk to tell us that you need dropping off at and picking up at Rochetaillée. For your transfer back to the airport, please ensure you are at the bus stop at the junction in Rochetaillée (please download the document above for a map), on the side of the road heading to Grenoble, a maximum of 20mins after the departure time shown on your Ben’s Bus e-Ticket as "DEPARTS VFD Bergers at...." The Oz en Oisans Tourist Office can help you with details of the bus that runs from Rochetaillée to Oz en Oisans  http://www.oz-en-oisans.com/station-ski/en/7/access.html

2. We can book a taxi for you with Jacki Le Taxi Man, who will be waiting for you at the junction at Rochetaillée. He will charge you 35 EUR for up to 4 of you and 55 EUR for up to 7 of you (prices are total price of taxi, each way - i.e per single journey). We will call him when you are getting near so he will be there waiting for you. For your return transfer, if you book the taxi through us, Jacki will pick you up at exactly the same spot where he dropped you in the resort, at the same time as shown on your Ben’s Bus e-Ticket “DEPARTS VFD Bergers at..” He will then drop you back at Rochetaillée where the Ben’s Bus will pick you up and take you on to the airport. To check availability for the taxi man Jacki, please contact ben@bensbus.co.uk detailing the dates and times of your flights, whether you have skis or not and where you are staying (the name of the apartment or hotel) in Oz en Oisans. The taxi journey with Jacki normally takes about 20 - 30 minutes.

 

Days of the Week

We run ski transfers between Grenoble Airport & Rochetaillée every single day of the week (except Christmas Day) connecting with every single flight. Our dates of operation are from the 10th December 2011 until the 22nd April 2012.

Prices

Our prices for Saturday to Saturday ski transfers are £45pp Return and £25 Single. There are surcharges for weekdays and Sundays.  To view a full list of our prices, please click here

 

Transfer Times

Transfer Times to Rochetaillée are between 1hr 15mins & 1hr 30 minutes depending on weather & traffic.

 

Children

Infants under 2 can legally sit on their parents knees. All children over 2 years old must occupy a seat and must therefore pay the full fare for our ski transfers.
